Planning around your trip
Book treatments with downtime early in your trip
Redness, swelling or bruising can last from a day to about a week depending on the treatment and the person. Leaving a few days before your flight home gives you time to recover and to contact the clinic if you have questions.
Allow 60–90 minutes for treatments that need numbing
Numbing cream usually needs around 20 minutes before treatment, and cleansing, soothing care and payment take additional time. Simple treatments without numbing are shorter.
Some treatments work as a course
Laser toning, collagen boosters and some lifting treatments are often done in several sessions weeks apart. If you can only visit once, ask the doctor what a single session can and cannot do for you.
Sun, alcohol and saunas
After many laser and injection treatments you will be asked to use sunscreen and avoid saunas, intense exercise or alcohol for a short period. Plan sightseeing accordingly.
Check holidays before you travel
The clinic takes a one-week summer break (late July to early August). Opening on Korean public holidays is announced in advance on the clinic’s Naver blog — message us to confirm.
